In the 2022-23 academic year, the Radical Harvest unit at the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (ESALA)—which is predicated on the reuse, repurposing and revaluing of waste materials—moved to Granton. Here, in collaboration with Edinburgh Palette, the students harvested discarded materials around the Granton waterfront and developed a number of live build projects for (and in collaboration with) local charities and social enterprises.
